PhD in Economics, Najafova Kamala Akif
She was born in 1977 in Baku.
She entered Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics in 1995, received a bachelor’s degree in 2000 and a master’s degree in 2002.
She was admitted to the graduate study in 2007. The necessary number of scientific works and theses were regularly published during her study period.
On May 15, 2013, she successfully defended her dissertation on “Socio-economic efficiency of entrepreneurship and the problems of its development” on the specialty 08.00.05 – “General Economics”. She is Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.

From 09.1994 she worked as a laboratory assistant at the General Department of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, since 1997 at the department of “Economics and Management of the Social Sphere”, as well as a part-time teacher.
Until the end of 2019, she was a senior lecturer at the department of “Economics and Management” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
From 07.01.2020 she was transferred to the position of associate professor of the same department.
She is married and has two children.
