It’s been 1 year since Huseyn Muradov’s martyrdom
October 8 is the commemoration day of Muradov Huseyn, a graduate of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), martyr of the Patriotic War, who rose to the peak of martyrdom for the freedom of Karabakh.
The commemoration ceremony of Shahid Muradov Huseyn was held in Shahidler Khiyaban, Nizami district. Associate Professor Elchin Eyvazov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of UNEC, Deputy Deans, Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli and active students took part in the commemoration ceremony.
Then the UNEC team visited the martyr’s grave, honored his dear memory, laid wreaths and flowers in front of the grave.
Muradov Huseyn was born on May 10, 1994 in Jafarkhan village of Saatli district. After graduating from secondary school in Baku, he studied at UNEC “General Economics” faculty in 2011-2015. After completing his higher education, he served in the military in Murovdag in 2015. He participated in the April 2016 battles. On September 21, a few days before the start of the Patriotic War, he left for the military unit to participate in training as a reservist at the invitation of the Ministry of Defense. He has been participating in the Patriotic War since September 27. He fought as a machine gunner in the battles that began in the direction of Fuzuli. He has shown great heroism in many battles. On October 8, he reached the peak of martyrdom in the battles for Hadrut. After his death, he was awarded the “For the Liberation of Jabrayil” and “For the Fatherland” medals.
