Doc.of Pedag. Scien., Prof., Valiyeva Naila Tofig
She was born on February 21, 1960 in the city of Sumgayit.
In 1977, she graduated with honors from secondary school No. 12 in Sumgayit.
After leaving secondary school, she entered Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of the Russian Language and Literature named after M.F. Akhundov (now Baku Slavic University), graduating in 1982.
In 1986, she entered the graduate school of Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Russian Language and Literature named after MF Akhundov, graduated in 1986 with honors.
She has received the title of candidate of pedagogical sciences in 1996 and a doctor of pedagogical sciences in 2008 by the Higher Attestation Commission.
From 1984 to 2001 she worked as a part-time teacher, laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, lecturer, associate professor at the “Russian language” department of Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Russian Language and Literature named after M.F.Akhundov.
From 2001 to 2006 she worked as the head of the “Russian language” department of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
Since 2006 she has been working at the same department as an associate professor, and since 2013 as an acting professor.
She is currently a professor of the department of Foreign Languages of UNEC.
She is the author of about 60 scientific-methodical works.
Married and has two children.
