Date of birth: November 26, 1984
In 2002-2006 he received a bachelor’s degree in “Finance” from the faculty of Finance and Credit of UNEC, and in 2006-2009 received a master’s degree in the same specialty.
In 2010 he graduated from the International School of Economics at TSU, and in 2011 from the summer school of the doctoral program CERGE-EI at Charles University in the Czech Republic.
In 2011-2013, he received a second master’s degree in Economics from Tbilisi International School of Economics at TSU (English).
He is currently a doctoral student at the Economic Reforms Research Institute of the Ministry of Economy, majoring in Internal Fiscal Policy.
In 2007-2008 he worked in a commercial bank; in 2009-2010 he worked as a chief economist and head of the department of Statistics and Analytical Analysis of the Macroeconomic Research Department of the Economic Reforms Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2014-2015, he worked as a senior researcher in the Finance Department of Akkord Industrial Construction Investment Corporation OJSC in Georgia, and in 2016 as a senior researcher in the Macroeconomic Research Department of the Economic Reforms Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Development.
He has been a research assistant in the project to support the development of a competitive non-oil sector in the Republic of Azerbaijan (UNDP) in 2009-2010. In 2016-2019, he was an expert on the European Union and GIZ project in the Aran and Ganja-Gazakh Economic Region, and in 2018 on the Asian Development Bank project.
He has been teaching at Baku Engineering University since 2017 and at UNEC since 2020.
He is a lecturer at the department of “International Economics” (English) at UNEC. She teaches Statistics and Environmental Economics in English at International School of Economics (ISE). He is a member of the UNEC Research Center for Knowledge Economics. He is the main mentor of ISE.
He has participated in international conferences registered on the Web of Science platform.
He is a young UNEC lecturer and an amateur climber. He climbed Khinalig peak (3713 m), Heydar Aliyev peak (3751 m), Ataturk peak (3756 m) and Bazarduzu peak (4466 m) and pinned the flag of Azerbaijan and UNEC on those peaks.
