Senior lecturer. Azizova Reyhan Seftar
She was born on October 23, 1965 in Baku.
In 1972, she entered school №62 in Nizami district and in 1982 graduated from the school with a gold medal.
In 1982 she entered the faculty of Automation of production processes of Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry named after M.Azizbayov majoring in Automated control systems. In 1984, she entered the third course of Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas named after I. M Gubkin and graduated in 1987 with honors.
In 1987 she started her career as an engineer by appointment in the department of Automated Control Systems of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR (now the Institute of Information Technology of the Azerbaijan Republic). In 1988, she was assigned to the position of software engineer in the system programming and informatics laboratory of the Azerbaijan Institute of Management under the Council of Ministers.
From 1989 to 2001 she worked as a senior programmer, senior research worker, and leading engineer at the same institute. In 1999, she was appointed an hourly teacher.
In 2001, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, she was hired to work as the engineer of the first degree in the department of “Technical and educational tools of teaching” at Azerbaijan State University of Economics, because of the suspension of the Institute. She has also held hourly lessons until 2006. In 2006 she was appointed as a leading engineer in the same department.

Since October 2006 she has been working as a lecturer at the department of Information Economics and Technology. She is the author of a textbook, 1 methodical manual, 8 articles and 4 theses. She has repeatedly participated in national and international conferences. She is actively involved in the scientific research carried out in the department.
She is a PhD student at the Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
She has been an expert in Informatics and MBA programs at State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2010.
Since 2017 she has been a senior lecturer of the department of “Information economics and Technology”.
She is married and has two children.
