Vice-rectors’ reports on the implementation of the “UNEC-100” Development Strategy were heard.
Associate Professor Geray Musayev, the vice-rector for education, presented a report on the implementation of performance indicators for 2022 in the field of study. Information about raising the passing score for the university, increasing the number of English-language education and international double degree programs, accreditation of educational programs, educational services for the lifelong learning program, becoming the university that offers the widest range of distance education services in the country and region, constantly improving the necessary knowledge and skills of students and the works done in other directions have been given in the report.
It was reported that 88% of the students who passed the English language exam in 2022 had a score of at least B-1, 47 students participated in international exchange, and 125 students received an internship program in international companies. The share of PhDs in the total number of teachers has increased to 53%, and the share of teachers under 40 years has increased to 25%. Compared to 2021, the number of teachers participating in academic exchange has increased by 3 times, and the number of universities where an academic exchange is conducted has increased by 7.5 times. 9 corporate trainings were carried out by the Lifelong Education Center established last year, which was 1.8 times more than the forecast for 2022.
