“Take care of education, she will give birth to personalities!”
UNEC’s Honorary Professor Mammadali Pashayev’s 90th Jubilee was celebrated on April 21.
The academic staff of the university, Professor’s students and family members attended the event.
UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov sincerely congratulated Mammadali Pashayev on behalf of the university employees. He said Mammadali Pashayev who dedicated a great part of his life to the development of professionals is our universities treasury. He made unprecedented contributions to the development of the science History. His performance in the university for more than 50 years was highly appreciated both the university administration and our state- he is the Honorary Professor of the University and was awarded a medal of “Progress” by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
For a long pedagogical performance and contributions made in the preparation of economist personnel, the Professor was awarded Honorary Diplomas by UNEC and Independent Trade Union of the Employees of Education.
Having a glance to the scholar’s life, UNEC Professor Hidayat Jafarov said that he went through the hard experiments of life honestly and raised to peak. He said Mammadali muellim has raised to the peak at the expense of his wisdom, intelligence, hard work, strength of conviction and will.
UNEC professors, member of the Parliament Khanhuseyn Kazimli, Zahid Mammadov, Asiman Guliyev, an Authorized employee of the Presidential Administration Khidirnabi Garalov evaluated him as an advanced scholar and noted that he is a high level specialist and a real intellectual who grew highly skilled specialists, students, scientists and children.
Expressing his gratitude for the attention rendered to him, Mammadali Pashayev spoke of his ideology of Azerbaijanism to which he dedicated a great part of life. He stressed the role of Azerbaijanism in protecting the national and moral values, national spirit and the growth of national cadres.
The Professor recommended to grow as real Azerbaijanis and to evaluate education and science: “Take care of education, she will give a birth to personalities!”
The participants were presented a book “Turns of Life” about Mammadali Pashayev’s life.
