The commemoration day of martyr Ulvi Hajiyev, a graduate of UNEC, was held
December 5 was the commemoration day of Ulvi Hajiyev, a graduate of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), who was martyred for the freedom of Karabakh.
In addition to family members of the martyr, active members of the Student Trade Union Committee of UNEC, friends of the martyr, military comrades and veterans took part in the commemoration ceremony held in the Second Honorary Alley.
Those who spoke at the commemoration ceremony spoke about the martyr’s life, the war path he passed, and his bravery. It was reported that martyr Ulvi Hajiyev participated in the battles for the liberation of Jabrayil, Hadrut settlement of Khojaven and Fuzuli during the Patriotic War. He was martyred on October 19 during the battles of Fuzuli.
In the end, the UNEC team honored the dear memory of the martyr and laid wreaths and flowers in front of his grave.
