The martyred graduates of UNEC were commemorated at the Military High School.
In order to recognize and introduce our children of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with the organization of the “Hezi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Center” and the Student Union Committee of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics at the Military High School named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski “Martyrs do not die – the Motherland is not divided!” As part of the series of events, a memorial ceremony dedicated to the memory of Mursal Kazimli, Mazdak Eyvazli, Teymur Zeynalov and Mikhail Hamidov, who were martyred in the Patriotic War, was held.
At the commemoration ceremony attended by cadets, officers and teaching staff of the military high school, family members of the martyrs, comrades-in-arms, friends and other guests, the memory of the national leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, and the children of our country, who rose to the height of martyrdom for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was commemorated with a minute’s silence. . The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. Videos about the lives and battles of the martyred graduates were shown. Speaking at the ceremony, the speakers spoke about the successful operations of the brave Azerbaijani Army in the Second Karabakh War under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar, and the short but honorable life and fighting ways of the martyrs of the Motherland – Mikhail, Mursal, Mazdak, Teymur, who set an example for future generations and showed loyalty to our national and moral values. they emphasized that the names of these young people growing up in their souls will always be held high and their memories will live in their hearts.
The parents of the martyrs expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the high attention and care shown to them, and for honoring the name of their children.
The memorial ceremony ended with songs and marches glorifying patriotism and heroism performed by the soloists of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov.
