October 14 was the commemoration day of Abil Jabizadeh, a graduate of UNEC, a martyr of the Patriotic War, who rose to the height of martyrdom for the freedom of Karabakh.
On the commemoration day of Abil Jabizade, associate professor Elman Jafarov, chairman of THIK, and students visited the martyr’s grave in Shahidler Khiyaban in Sumgayit city. The UNEC collective paid tribute to the dear memory of the martyr, laid a wreath and arranged flowers in front of the grave.
After his death, Abil Jabizade was awarded the “For the Motherland”, “For the Liberation of Jabrayil”, and “For the Liberation of Fuzuli” medals.
