The UNEC team visited the grave of martyr Huseyn Muradov and his family
The collective of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) continues to visit the families of UNEC graduates who were martyred in the Patriotic War.
Associate Professor Asiman Guliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Rufat Suleymanli, Chairman of the UNEC Student Trade Union Committee (THIK), Gunay Agazadeh, Chairman of the THIK of the Part-time and Additional Education Center, visited the grave of martyr Huseyn Muradov in Keshla Shahidlar Alley.
Then the UNEC team visited the martyr’s family. Saying that Huseyn was a kind, patriotic, caring and warm young man, his mother shared her memories of him: “He studied with excellent grades in school, and he loved history more. First, he won the school and then the subject Olympiad in Baku. The same year he graduated from school, he was admitted to the university. He often said that one day you will all be proud of me.”
His father, who said that he has always been friends with Hussain, said that he was very close to him both as a father and as a friend. Shahid’s brother remembered the last time he spoke with Huseyn: “On October 8, we spoke with Huseyn by phone. He said that we will go to battle today, let me see you too. I went, but they didn’t let me out of the post. If I had known that this would be my last meeting with him, I would have found a way to meet him. On the same day, my brother was heroically martyred in the battles in the direction of Hadrut… After his death, he was awarded the “For the Liberation of Gabriel” and “For the Motherland” medals.
The dean of the faculty Asiman Guliyev spoke about the measures taken at the university to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs. He said that their dear memory will always be cherished.
Chairman of THIK, Rufat Suleymanli, said that the life path of our brave sons, who made history with their blood by showing heroism in the Patriotic War, is an example for every young person, and their names will live forever in the hearts of our people.
At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the correspondence and additional education center, THİK, Gunay Agazade presented the Honorary Decree prepared in the name of our martyr to the martyr’s mother.
