An open lesson held at UNEC: “Medical English”
The next open lesson has been held in the School of International School of Economics of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
The topic of the English class conducted by the teaching staff of the Department of “Foreign Languages” Aynur Mirzayeva was “Medical English”. Information about the rules to contact a doctor abroad, description of symptoms and idiom related with medicine was delivered to I year students within the lesson of interactive methods. A.Mirzayeva grouped the students into the “local doctor” and “foreign patient” groups using a “role play” method. The “overseas citizens” complained about the discomforts in their health. A.Mirzayeva noted the method will be beneficiary in destroying the barriers faced by the students speaking a foreign language.
Note: Open lessons has started from November 7 in the International School of Economics. Open lessons attended by the faculty administration and teaching staff will be continued.
