Scientific Conference held at UNEC: “Role of Finance- credit System in Socio-economic Development of Azerbaijan”
Student scientific conference on “Role of Finance-credit System in Socio-economic Development of Azerbaijan” devoted to the 93rd Anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s organized by the Department of Finance and Financial Institutions, the Student Scientific Circle and the Student Scientific Society of School of Finance and Accounting has been held on May 3.
The Chairman of the Conference’s organizing committee, Head of the Department Finance and Financial Institutions Avaz Alakbarov spoke about the Great Leader’s role in Azerbaijan economy and the achievements gained during his leadership to republic; about great politician Heydar Aliyev’s visionary and purposeful policy conducted towards the democratic and legal state building.
Then the reports by the undergraduate and graduate students were heard. The winners were determined in accordance with the jury’s voting:
- I place- second- year graduate student of the Master Center Abdulrahim Dadashov: “Role of Financial Mechanism in the Development of Non- oil Sector in Azerbaijan”;
- II place- second- year undergraduate student of the School of International Economics Ulvi Damirli: “Role of Foreign Investment in Azerbaijan Economy”, second- year undergraduate student of the “Finance and Accounting” Mammadagha Mammadov: “Banking Risk. Its types and the factors that determine them”;
- III place- undergraduates of the School of Finance and Accounting Vusale Khalilova: “Organization and Conduct of Calculation Operations”, Shamistan Gahramanov: “Role of Credit in Stimulating Export”, second- year graduate student of the Master Center Dilara Khanmamadli: “Directions of Improving Insurance Policy”.
Dean of the School of Finance and Accounting Geray Musayev said the Great Leader who noted “The State with strong Economy is able to do everything” had made historical decisions on the development of Azerbaijan economy. G. Musayev has highly appreciated the precise investigation of these decisions in reports.
Chairman of the SSS Avazagha Malikov congratulated the speakers for their successful articles. Pointing the detailed investigation of the topics, he said that the undergraduate and graduate students participated in the conference have taken their successful steps for their further scientific activities.
Winners were awarded diplomas and presents of AXA MBASK.
