Education Factor in the Promotion of National and Moral Values was discussed at UNEC
Scientific seminar on “The Education Factor in the Promotion of National and Moral Values” was held by the Council of Young Scholars of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on December 18. Chairman of the Board of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor Ajdar Aghayev said education policy implemented after the obtaining the independence pave the way for the preservation of national and moral values and delivery to future generations. He noted that this great achievement gained by our nation provides the use of moral values which is our national wealth, its development and integration as part of human values. Azerbaijan people returns to its history, their national and moral values carrying out education reforms by setting up free and sovereign state and uses the experience of democratic countries. Vice- rector of UNEC for Students’ Affairs Saadat Gandilova spoke about the role of this matter in our socialization. She stressed the importance of instilling the values of statehood traditions against the false propaganda of Armenians based on cunning and insidious policy. Because today’s students are tomorrow’s managers, the future of our state; the carriers of our nation’s national and moral values. The cultivating perfect generation is the task of education. In this respect, the honorable task and great responsibility falls on the teachers.
At the end of the event, a member of the Writer’s Union, historian and philologist, Professor Ajdar Aghayev presented his book to literature lovers.
