Trainings within “Model WTO” Conference start at UNEC
The participants of the Conference World Trade Organization model have been conducted trainings within the preparation at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on May 20. At the event held among the students or the first time in Azerbaijan, the participants were informed about the WTO processes and procedures. The teaching staff of UNEC Department of International Economics Seymur Aliyev delivered detailed information on “Strengthening the Capacity of Trading: Problems of Global Trading System” and “Negotiations held on Azerbaijan’s accession to WTO”.
Questions on the advantages of WTO membership and the requirements were responded in the end.
Students will conduct research on the topic and will make reports on the country’s economy they were appointed, especially its trading ties and political relations during the main conference to be held on May 21-22. The participants will conduct debates on the topic within the two days. Conventional declarations will be made by the participants as a result of discussions.
