A great Novruz celebration is held at UNEC
A solemn event dedicated to Novruz holiday has been held at UNEC.
Speaking at the opening of the celebration organized on the occasion of Novruz holiday, which preserves the national and moral values and traditions of our people, Associate professor Saadat Gandilova congratulated the university staff and conveyed good wishes to them.
At the holiday celebration organized by the UNEC Trade Union Committee, the Student Trade Union Committee and the Creative Center, corners with Novruz attributes were created in the courtyard of the university, and artworks dedicated to the arrival of spring and Novruz traditions by the students of the Design School were displayed.
Talented students who are members of the vocal, instrumental orchestra, and dance groups of the Creative Center entertained the participants with festive musical numbers.
Students demonstrated unity by going “Yally” around the holiday bonfire, which is a symbol of Novruz.
“Kitab at!”, traditionally carried out by UNEC every Novruz holiday, within the framework of the project, books were donated to students by the Library Information Center.
Novruz scenes of kosa and kechal, famous characters of Novruz holiday, added a special color to the celebration.
