Honorary Professor of UNEC has been sent to Retirement
The staff of the Department of “Finance and Financial Institutions” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has seen off the Honorary Professor Ramiz Rzayev to retirement on December 7. Professors of the Department said R.Rzayev has unprecedented services in the development of economist cadres for many years. At the same time, he was an active participant of socio-political life of the university. The academic staff of the Department of “Finance and Financial Institutions” wished Ramiz Rzayev long life and healthy life and expressed confidence for maintaining friendly and constant relations with his own staff.
R.Rzayev was born in 1938. After the graduation in 1961 he worked for banking system for a while. He was a post graduate student and defended the Candidate’s thesis within 1965-1969. He was in different positions in “Finance credit” including teacher, senior teacher and Associate Professor since 1969 up-to-date and at the same time lead some departments. He is the author of more than 100 scientific articles, textbooks and teaching facilities. He is UNEC’s Honorary Professor.
