Information about the performances of the Center for Disabled Students was heard
The next meeting of the commission established to evaluate the performances of the Center for Disabled Students has been held at UNEC.
The results of the work done and directions of the future activities were spoken about in the session. Problems faced by the physically impaired students and the proposals to eliminate them were heard.
The International Relations Department’s employee Gulshan Veliyeva delivered detailed information about the Tempus Project on “Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into the HEIs in Azerbaijan” within the meeting.
The Coordinator of the Center for Disabled Students Sevinj Mahsimova talked about the work done in accordance with the actions plan.
The student organizations were instructed to prove the physically impaired students who study at UNEC about the Center; to conduct promotional activities for their involvement in the social and cultural life of the university.
The senior bibliographer of UNEC Arzu Mammadova informed the participants about the audio book project.
The psychologist of the Center Valida Aliyeva spoke about the significance of the relevant social environment available for each student at the university. She stressed the necessity of positive links between the teaching staff and students and organization of the workshops to this ground.
