The event dedicated to the 80-th jubilee of outstanding scientist, the doctor of economic sciences, professor Ali Hasanov was held at UNEC.

In the jubilee event, were demonstrated the boooks published by the head of the “Consumer goods expertise” chair, the chairman of the UNEC Board of Elders, professor Ali Hasanov.

The rector of UNEC, professor Adalat Muradov spoke about the efficient activity of the anniversary celebrant as a pedagogue and the scientist and stressed that his 80 years life was combined with wisdom and wealth of knowledge and experience. The rector characterized A. Hasanov as the wise elder, who formed his fate himself, benefited from the opportunities that life had given to him, the fighter, the fearless man with optimistic outlook.

A.Muradov, pointed out that the elderly advice was always given the special importance at UNEC, and noted that the Board of Elders, which was led by the anniversary celebrant, had the peculiar place in all the achievements of the university. The rector, wishing the success to economist-scientist in his future activity, said that the professsor was awarded with the Certificate of Merit of UNEC on the occasion of the 80-th anniversary.

In the event professor Ali Hasanov was presented the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Education ”for longstanding, effective scientific and pedagogical activity in the preparation of highly qualified economists, in the development of education and on the occasion of 80-th jubilee.

Mirza Jafarzadeh, the deputy chairman of the Free Trade Union Republican Committee of Azerbaijani Education Workers said that the UNEC professor A.Hasanov played an active role in the life of the university and as well as the public life of the country. He noted that taking into consideration the activities of the prominent scientist in upbringing of the young generation, his efficient scientific and pedagogical activity, and his broad public activities, the professor was awarded with the medal of “for the work done in the Trade Uion” by the decision of the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Uion Confederation and the presentation of  Free Trade Union Republican Committee of Azerbaijani Education Workersand he presented the award to the scientist.

The UNEC professor, the member of the Parliament Khanhuseyn Kazımlı, the professors Hidayət Jafarov, Maarifa Hajıyeva, the deans of the faculties, those who closely familiar with the anniversary celebrant characterized him as selfless scientist, and named Ali Hasanov the founder and patron of the commodity research school. The speakers talked about the high human qualities of the anniversary celebrant, emphasized that the life of A.Hasanov, the life of real scientist, the life of a great man and his actions were the worthy example for the young generation, and told about the pleasant and unforgettable memories related to him.

In the event, were demonstrated the photos reflected the life journey and pedagogical activity of the professor. The members of the UNEC Creative Center performed the misic and recited the poems.

At the end, the professor Ali Hasanov expressed gratitude to participants of the event for the pleasant words and congratulations addressed to him, and shared his impressions on 55 years pedagogical activity.
