He was born on September 14, 1980, in the city of Khankendi. In 1997-2001 he received a bachelor’s degree from the Physics Faculty of Baku State University, and in 2001-2003 he received a master’s degree from the same faculty.
In 2003, he graduated with honours from the faculty of Physics of BSU with a master’s degree in “Solid-State Electronics” in “Physical Electronics”. From 2004-to 2009 he worked as a junior researcher in the laboratory “Physics of non-crystalline semiconductors” of the Institute of Physics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, in 2009-2011 as a researcher, and from 2011 to the present as a leading researcher.
In 2009, he was awarded a scholarship and a certificate from the Swiss Foundation for Support of Young Researchers for his postgraduate research. In 2019, he was appointed to the position of part-time associate professor at the department of “Engineering and Applied Sciences”.
In 2021, he was appointed head of the speciality “Electrical and Electronics Engineering”. He is the author of 65 scientific works.
