The journal “Scientific Reviews of Azerbaijan State University of Economics” 

According to Azerbaijan State University of Economics’ application to the Ministry Justice of Azerbaijan Republic on October 2 2012 the “Scientific Reviews of Azerbaijan State University of Economics” journal was included to the register of media outlets on November 16 2012.

The aim of the journal “Scientific Reviews of Azerbaijan State University of Economics” is to publish original abstracts scientifically and methodologically indicating modern and conceptual problems of economy and other social sciences.

Higher Attestation Commission under the President of Azerbaijan Republic put new demands in the face of scientific publications recommended to publish main results of dissertations. According these requirements International Standard Series Number “ISSN 2306-8426” was received for the journal “Scientific Reviews of Azerbaijan State University of Economics” in January of 2012.

This journal is in the list of scientific periodicals of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in which the publication of main results of theses is recommended.

We must note that journal “Scientific Reviews of Azerbaijan State University of Economics” is published in Azeri, English and Russian since 2013. The journal is published 4 (four) times a year.

The Journal of “Economic Sciences: Theory and Practice”

The journal of “Economic Sciences: Theory and Practice” has been published since 1994 by Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Since the foundation date its editor was the correspondence member of Azerbaijan NAS, Doctor of Economy Professor T.J.Veliyev. Nowadays the rector of the University Professor A.J.Muradov leads the journal.

From its thematic point of view our quarterly theoretical and scientific- practical journal is a unique journal published in the republic. Recently systematic changes are being put into practice to meet modern requirements.

Monumental articles of theoretical and practical importance surrounding different fields of Economy, scientifically reflecting the reality of the modern period are published in the journal. Scientific articles by the advanced and experienced Professors and teachers of the university such as A.J.Muradov, Sh. H. Hajiyev, T. Guliyev, A. Bayramov, R. Hasanov, T. Huseynov, G. Manafov, S. Sabzaliyev, M. Ahmadov, A. Babayev and many others are published in the journal. At the same time scientific researches by the young scientists are also published in the journal. Concrete results have been achieved towards the introducing the journal to the international area. The process of preparation the journal and publishing of articles is in accordance with modern requirements has been finished and got the international index (ISSN 2220- 8739) as well. The Journal of “Economic Sciences: Theory and Practice” has been published in English since 2012. This journal is in the list of scientific periodicals of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in which the publication of main results of theses is recommended.
