Associate Professor Guluzade Mahmud Mammad
He was born on December 22, 1938 in the village of Palangli of Tovuz region.
In 1956 he entered Baku College of Statistics.
In 1959 he graduated from the same technical school.
For some time he worked as deputy head of the statistical office in Tovuz region.
In 1962 he entered the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy (now Azerbaijan State University of Economics).
In 1969 he graduated from the Institute with excellent marks and worked as a teacher in the department of “Economics and Planning of National Economy”.
From 1966 to 1974 he worked as the Comsomol secretary at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 1974 he defended his thesis for a degree.
In 2002, he worked as director of the Baku branch of Moscow State Cooperative University. The branch was reorganized as Azerbaijan Cooperative University and he served as a rector of the university for many years.
In 1995 he was invited to the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He is currently an Associate Professor at the department of “Economics and Management of the Social Sphere” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In May 2017 he was awarded the title of honorary professor of UNEC.
He is married and has three children and grandchildren.
