Lectures on Islamic Solidarity Year are in progress at UNEC

An Associated Professor of the Department of “International Relations” Ramil Gurbanov has spoken about the significance of the announcement of 2017 the Year of Islamic Solidarity within the next lecture organized in the Faculty of Business and Management. He said the decision is a step consistent with the requirement of the time. This decision urges Islamic states to demonstrate solidarity once again.
A Senior Teacher of the Department of “International Relations” Tarana Shirvanova lectured on “Islam and Europe”. She noted growing influence of Islam necessitates dialogue between the Europe and the Islamic civilization and Azerbaijan is an important bridge in this dialogue.
