Performances of UNEC’s Center for Disabled Students have been rated highly
A monitoring has been held to o evaluate the performances and project results of UNEC Center for Disabled Students founded within the TEMPUS Project on Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs.
The assessment was realized by a Chairman of the Union of Organizations of Disabled People Davud Rahimli, a Coordinator of the ESFIDIP Project on Khazar University Center Rima Mammadova and other representatives of the monitoring group.
A Coordinator of the Center Sevinj Mahsimova and an Assistant Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines of UNEC, Can. of Psychology Valida Aliyeva delivered detailed information about the work done at the center within the meeting at UNEC. Preparation of the training materials, distribution of the instructions to all structural units of the university and the use of auxiliary equipment were controlled. The results of the pilot program were rated. The documents of the center and infrastructural accessibility were checked. The coordinator of the Center provided the participants with the information about the activities that ensure the stability of the project. The representatives of the assessment group rated the work realized at the Center and provided recommendations for future activities.
