UNEC students visited the family of martyr Agaami Heybatov
The staff of UNEC’s Student Trade Union Committee (THIK) visited the family and grave of Aghaami Heybatov, a graduate of UNEC who was heroically martyred in the Patriotic War.
Chairman of THIK Rufat Suleymanli and committee activists expressed their condolences to the martyr’s family and expressed their pride in Agaami Heybatov. Like our martyrs, their family members are very valuable for each of us, and they bowed before the parents who raised such heroic children
At the meeting, Halimakhanim Heybatova, the martyr’s sister, shared her memories about her brother and said that Agaami won the respect of his relatives with his patriotism and kindness. He said that he worked with great responsibility to get a higher education and in 2011 he was admitted to the “Tourism and Hotel Management” specialty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He said that he was awarded with a number of certificates for his activity during his student years.
A.Heybatov, who was in military service after graduating from the university, voluntarily participated in the April battles during that period. His family learned about this 4 years later, after he was martyred. A. Heybatov signed up for the army without the knowledge of his family and went to the front voluntarily to participate in the Patriotic War that started on September 27. Our graduate, who showed heroism in the battles in the direction of Murovdag, rose to the peak of martyrdom on October 16 in the battles in the direction of Goranboy district.
He was posthumously awarded with the “For the Fatherland” medal for honorably fulfilling his duty during the execution of the tasks assigned to the military unit, participating in military operations to ensure the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Agaami Heybeov was buried on October 25 in Shahidlar Khiyaban, where he lived in Buzovna settlement.
At the meeting, Chairman of UNEC Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli presented the Honorary Decree of THIK to the martyr’s family. He said that Agaami Heybatov’s life path is an example for every young person, his dear memory will live forever in the hearts of each of us.
Then the students visited the grave of the martyr, paid tribute to his dear memory, and arranged flowers in front of the grave.
