UNEC is represented in the X International Education Exhibition
Opening of the X International Education Exhibition took place on October 7 at the Baku Expo Center. Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is represented with its stand in the exhibition. 118 higher and secondary education institutions from 14 countries participated in the jubilee exhibition officially supported by the Ministry of Education and organized by “Caspian Event Organizers” (CEO).
Calling at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov and other employees of the ministry became familiar with UNEC’s stand. Vice-rector of the University for International Affairs and Programs Shahin Bayramov provided the Deputy Minister with the detailed information about UNEC and innovations held. He said a serious increase in the number of the high- students chosen UNEC has been recorded in 2016/2017 academic year. Thus, this year 291 students with more than 600 points had been enrolled to the University of Economics. Sh.Bayramov spoke about UNEC’s position in the international ranking lists of QS and Webometrics, contributions made by the currently implemented “Electronic University Model” and Differential Salary System to improving the quality of education in the university. Sh.Bayramov especially emphasized the implementation of the “Leading Teacher-Leading University” and “Quality of Education through the Students’ Eyes” Projects started in the University.
The Education Deputy Minister Jeyhun Bayramov was informed about the successful consequences of the dual diploma, Mevlana and Erasmus+ programs.
Sh.Bayramov highly evaluated the innovations applied at UNEC and wished them to be sustainable.
The application of UNEC’s International Programs and online admission of international students to the Distance, Part-time and Secondary Education, training opportunities of the university in 4 languages were of great interest by the visitors. The visitors’ questions were answered within the view to the stand.
X Azerbaijan International Exhibition will last for two days.
