The Public Control Board will monitor the Exam Session at UNEC
“UNEC Public Control Board” has been established at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. The control of the spring examination session of 2015/2016 academic year to be held at UNEC will be undertaken by the unit. The Board represented by Azerbaijan’s well-known experts, scientists and the representatives of the influential media organizations will assess the results of the session conducting monitoring. Public representatives, parents, the representatives of media and NGO will be able to address their complaints, proposals and questions only to the Board. The received enquiries will be investigated transparently and appropriate measures will be provided operatively and in a short period of time. To this ground the affairs done by the Appeal Commission will be implemented by the Board.
The management of the University’s Hotline service (146-1-3) will also be given to the Board within the exams.
Members of the Board will conduct the control of exams in all academic buildings of the University in freely without any obstacles. The information about the exam session will not be spread without the Board’s permission.
“UNEC Public Control Board” include: Head of PA “XXI Century” Education Center, Coordinator Etibar Aliyev, Honored Scientist, Professor Shahlar Asgerov, Head of Constitutional Research Fund, member of the Joint Group on Human Rights Alimammad Nuriyev, Director of the Scientific and Educational Programs Department of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Zaur Mahmudov, Executive Director of the Information Agency “Ses” (Voice) Veli Veliyev, Deputy General Director of Information Agency “Trend” Arzu Naghiyev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Association of Journalists, General Director of the Media Group “Modern” Elshad Eyvazli and correspondent of the newspaper “525th newspaper” Sevinj Garayeva.
Meeting with the members of “Public Control Board”, Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov said that the foundation of the Public Control Board will provide the public observation of the exam session at UNEC. Rector recommended them to deliver the cases they would face within the session unchanged. We want to ensure the objectivity and save the transparency. Rector noted that we are targeted to see UNEC among the world class universities.
Proposals by the members of the Board were made to set the activities of the Public Control Board in the highest level.
