In the special classes held in Business and Management, Finance and accounting, Economics, and Management faculties, the Russian School of Economics, the participants spoke about the causes and consequences of the Khojaly tragedy and emphasized that this tragedy is a continuation of the acts of ethnic cleansing and genocide carried out by Armenian nationalists against the people of Azerbaijan for years. Speakers pointed out that the Khojaly genocide was the most terrible of the crimes of genocide committed against the peaceful Azerbaijani population.
It was noted that 14 schools were destroyed in the city of Khojaly as a result of the terrible inhumane acts of Armenians, and 613 people, including 106 women, 63 children, and 70 old people, were mercilessly killed. 487 people were maimed, 1275 civilians were captured, and 150 people were missing.
In special lessons, the victory won in the 44-day Patriotic War was also discussed. Thanks to the successful policy of the President of the country, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and the determination of our victorious army, the 44-day Patriotic War ended with the complete victory of Azerbaijan, and the determination of our people, who achieved the freedom of our occupied lands after 30 years, has not been broken.
