Interest to UNEC is being increased
Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Dr. Adalat Muradov met with the students enrolled to higher education institution with more than 600 points.
UNEC Rector congratulated the youth with the name of student. He informed them about the UNEC in detail and spoke about the international relations of the higher institution expressing the gratitude for choosing the University of Economics. Emphasizing the application of the most modern technologies at UNEC, Rector added that for the first time in the country the process of the digitalization of the teaching process has been launched in the University of Economics.
The numbers of the students enrolled to UNEC with more than 600 points are 103. This figure was 93 last year, and a year before was 49. Saying this dynamics makes us happy, Rector added that each student entered the university with more than 600 will be paid 100 AZN of scholarship at the university’s expense within a term. In addition, 15 students with the highest results without the faculty difference on every course will be paid scholarship of honors. These may be chargeable, full and part- time students.
Majority of the high- scored students (51 students) entered to UNEC have chosen the International School of Economics. The newly established School offers the interactive training absolutely in English and provides Undergraduate Programs on the World Economy, Finance, Accounting, Economics and Business Administration and the Graduate Programs on the World Economy and Finance. Classes are conducted by the leading instructors of UNEC and the world universities.
36 of the high- scored students will get trained at the School of Finance.
Dr. A. Muradov invited the students to the “Orientation Day” to be organized on 14 September. He noted that the “Orientation Day” held for the first time aims to get the students familiar with the university life and offer them an entertaining and positive day.
Students’ and the parents’ questions were responded and students were presented the student cards in the end of the meeting.
