Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ASUE) began to implement the differential salaries system. Decision was made during the Scientific Council’s session. The main purpose of the differential additions to the salaries is to provide the teaching staff’s motivation and to strengthen the competitive environment among them.
According to the new rules, to evaluate their service performance all necessary information will be entered via special software by the pedagogical staff. At the next stage the Permanent Commission on Efficiency Assessment Service will expertise the Professor and teaching personnel’s confirmation documents.
In accordance with the regulations, evaluation of staff performance will be realized on the directions of their scientific, educational and self- development activities at the university. Teachers will make additional earnings to their salaries in accordance with the points picked beginning with May 31 to the appropriate date of the next academic year. Extras are intended for 1-2 times as much as the current salary.
Besides the teaching staff, ranking of the Chairs and Schools will also be done. Heads of the Chairs performing the highest scores will earn 2 times as much as their salary. Employees of the School Deans’ Office performing the highest score will be able to trip to ASUE’s training, sports and resort complex in Guba for 7 days.
