ASUE was awarded for the Active Participation in Blood Donation
Azerbaijan Young Blood Donators II Forum was held on June 6 in Baku. During the event organized by the Ministry of Education Center for Public Health and Reforms, Red Cross Society of Azerbaijan, Central Blood Bank of the Scientific Research Institute of Hematology and Transfusion, Red Cross Society of Iran exemplary participation of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ASUE) was highly appreciated. The organizers of the forum awarded ASUE for the active participation in the volunteer and disinterestedly blood donation of Azerbaijan.
Making a speech Head of the Projects’ Coordination of the Ministry of Health Center for Public Health and Reforms Sabina Babazade noted that the main forthcoming purpose is now developing of blood donation in Azerbaijan. She spoke about the Working Group established on the eve of the World Blood Donation Day held on June 14 2014 and its activity, delivered information about the forums and campaigns provided within a year.
Videos entitled “Donate blood, save their lives!”,”Blood Donation: you can save them” were demonstrated during the event.
In the end of the II Forum of Young Blood Donators of Azerbaijan the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Ministry of Taxes, the Ministry of Extraordinary Cases, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Fund for Social Defense and other bodies and persons were awarded for their active participation in blood donation.
