A.Muradov: “Full-time and Part- time Students were created the same conditions at UNEC”
Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Professor Adalat Muradov held a meeting with a first-year part-time students. Head of the University informed the students about the novelties implemented at the higher institution.
In his speech, Rector spoke about the passage to credit system in part-time education. A.Muradov noted that all students were created the same condition at the university, regardless of the fact they are full- time or part-time students. Speaking on the steps aimed to attract young teachers in the teaching process Rector, said that 411 candidates applied for the competition announced among the Masters under 30 and 117 of them were selected for the first stage. 20 applicants among them are already our teaching staff members. A.Muradov delivered information about the “E-University” Project highlighting the significance of the application of innovations in education.
To spend more efficient leisure time part-time students were recommended to benefit from the opportunities provided by UNEC Creative Center and Radio UNEC.
Responding the question about the stimulation of the first year students, rector noted that during the exams 15 students with highest results on each course will be granted with the scholarship of honors. In addition, Rector recommended them to be active participants of Scholarship and Internship Programs.
Proposals by the students were evaluated by the Rector.
