Khojali Tragedy has been commemorated in the School of Technology and Design
Event dedicated to the 24th anniversary of Khojali massacre has been held at the Faculty of Technology and Design of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). The victims of the genocide were commemorated with a minute’s silence in the event.
The Faculty Dean, Professor Gabil Huseynov said Khojali tragedy is the death-blow stroke against humanity beside the Azerbaijan people. Afterwards the Professor of the Department Azerbaijan History Vakil Hasanov spoke about the massacre condemned against our people by Armenian aggressors. He drew to attention the affairs motivated to the awareness of international community, especially the campaign “Justice for Khojali” performed by the Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva which has given necessary results.
Students majoring on Design have sounded poems and demonstrated a video related with “Khojali Genocide” during the event.
