Since June 1 the examinations of the spring term of 2015/2016 academic year has been started at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Members of the “Public Control Board of UNEC” have observed the process of examination in all academic buildings of the university.

About 150 students on Azerbaijan and Russian sections of the School of Finance and Accounting have taken their first exam at the main academic building. 1 authoritative person, 4 observers, I academic consultant and 1 Deputy Dean on each group monitored the exam process held for the 1^st and 4^th year students. The exam questions are placed on the site to simplify the students’ work. Students were in addition provided with pens and papers within the process.

220 students have passed the exam held in other academic building of the university. 3 inspectors on each group and Deans monitored the process.

Only 25 percent of the students were not allowed to take exam but for their attendance.

Members of the Public Board also observed the appeals on hotline service 146-1-3.

According to Etibar Aliyev coordinator, member of the UNEC Public Control Board’, Head of PA Training Center “XXI Century” the preparation of the exam session has been organized in high level. He said that was proved from the conversation with the students. The applied exam method fully guarantees the transparency of the process. UNEC administration has built the relations between the students, teaching staff and parents with the Board in the highest level. The process of exam session will be assessed on the basis of the applications made to hotline. Media will be informed about the results of daily monitoring.

Executive Director of the Information Agency “Ses” (Voice) Veli Veliyev said that the process of exam was transparent and there were no negative cases within the process: “Members of the Board can easily communicate with the students during the exams”

 The Board members will also monitor the exams to be held at the Financial Economic College performing under the University.

UNEC’s exam session will be completed on July 4.

It should be noted that the control of the spring term exam session of 2015/2016 is being implemented by the Board established at UNEC. The Board represented by Azerbaijan’s well-known experts, scientists, representatives of media will conduct the monitoring of the session and evaluate the results.
