A memorandum of cooperation is signed between UNEC and the Social Services Agency
A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between UNEC and the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
At the signing ceremony organized at UNEC, the Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, gave Vugar Behbudov, the chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency, detailed information about activities of the university, inclusive educational environment, relations with the business world, employment of graduates, etc. The Rector pointed out that specialist training in 2 languages is being conducted at UNEC in the “Social Work” specialty and that this year will be the first graduates of that specialty.
Vugar Behbudov, Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency, spoke about the Agency’s activities and services. He said that mobile and stationary services are provided to the population of all age categories in the branches and institutions of the agency across the country. V.Behbudov emphasized that he is interested in cooperating with higher education institutions to further increase the quality of the provided services.
During the meeting, joint training of specialists in the relevant specialty, taking advantage of the potential of the UNEC Inclusive Education Center, preparing audio textbooks, organizing students’ industrial experience, holding joint trainings, and other issues were discussed.
In the end, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties. In the memorandum, the development of scientific-practical relations in the field of social services, the establishment of relations serving public-social interests, etc. are envisaged.
