The UNEC team celebrates the Novruz holiday at the “Nursing Home”.
The staff of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has met with the residents of the social service center for elderly citizens within the Azerbaijani Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, located in Bilgah settlement.
The Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency Vugar Behbudov, Associate Professor Gulnara Rzayeva, Director of the Department of UNEC, and Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli, who visited the elderly with the UNEC team, congratulated them on Novruz holiday and wished them long life, good health and pleasant days.
Books were donated to the elderly within the framework of the “KitabAt” project implemented by the UNEC Library Information Center and the Student Union Organization in accordance with the traditional “hat throwing” custom of Novruz holiday. Residents welcomed the “KitabAt” project with interest and expressed their joy.
At the meeting, the members of the University’s Creative Center performed music and dances in front of the elders. The UNEC collective danced with the elders and experienced unforgettable moments together.
