The Permanent Commission created in connection with the differential salary system at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has completed its work. Verification of the data entered to system has already been completed by the Commission. Thus the system has determined the rating of TOP 100 among the teaching staff members automatically. 143 teachers’ scientific, training and self- development activities were entered to system within 2 months.
The main objective of the system is to create a healthy competitive environment, to raise the level of satisfaction with their workplace and to increase the teachers’ individual and group productivity as well. This, in turn will serve to enhance the efficiency of scientific- research and administrative activities.
Salaries of the teaching staff at UNEC in accordance with the rating list of 2015/2016 academic year occupying 1-10 places will be increased 2 times, 11- 30 places 1.7 times, 31-60 places 1.5 times 61- 100 places 1.2 times.
Note that the determination of the rating system of UNEC’s academic staff is based on three areas of their activities. Their scientific, teaching and self- development activities were entered there.
