Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, chairman and CEO of Pasha Bank Taleh Kazimov, leading experts of the Bank and the academic staff of the university attended the event.
Rector Adalat Muradov expressed his satisfaction with UNEC’s cooperation with Pasha Bank and said the university needed an environment to meet the challenges of the real economy. The rector spoke about the importance of teaching students practical skills along with theoretical knowledge. He stressed the importance of cooperating with the real sector in this area and implementing joint training programs.
The rector spoke about the requirements of the digital economy towards higher education institutions. He emphasized that digitalization requires the training of highly qualified professionals and the need for graduates to meet the needs of the economy and employers.
The chairman Taleh Kazimov spoke about the main objectives of Pasha Bank, one of the largest financial institutions in the country. T.Kazimov said that the main capital of every society is human capital, and that Pasha Bank always supports the education of successful youth. The head of the bank said that cooperation with UNEC was a great opportunity in this regard and was of great importance.
After the speeches, Rector Adalat Muradov and the chairman of Pasha Bank Taleh Kazimov signed a memorandum of cooperation. According to the document, UNEC and Pasha Bank plan to implement educational, science programs, apply innovation in education (science) and information technologies in business processes, joint implementation of innovative activities, use of modern technologies and scientific developments in education and banking services, joint seminar, training, organization of conferences, students’ internships in the bank.
After the event, Rector Adalat Muradov introduced “UNEC Extern” center to representatives of Pasha Bank. The rector informed the guests about the advantages and opportunities of the distance learning center. The chairman of Pasha Bank Taleh Kazimov and employees of the bank visited UNEC library 24/7, they got interested in the innovations there.
