The awarding ceremony attended by UNEC teaching staff
The awarding ceremony of the Republic Sports Competition winners held among the employees of higher education institutions devoted to the 93rd Anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s birthday was held in the Azerbaijan Confederation of Trade Union Committees on July 1. The ceremony was attended by the members of the winner team consisting of UNEC teaching staff.
The team consisting of UNEC teaching staff became the first in volleyball of the sports competition organized in May. UNEC teaching staff won the II place in chess and III in backgammon of the competition held on 5 sports types.
ACTUC Chairman, member of the Parliament Sattar Mehbaliyev congratulated the members of winner teams and wished them success. Later, the winners were awarded cup and diplomas.
It should be noted that the academic staff members of 14 higher education institutions participated in the sports contest.
