The Faculty of Commodity Research will be renamed
Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Professor Adalat Muradov met with the first- year undergraduates of the School of Commodity Research on October 23.
İnnovations applied at UNEC are intended to provide more quality education to students. Our goal is to provide quality education and grow up the cadres meeting the requirements of the labor market. A. Muradov also added that the new academic year is announced a “Year of Quality” for UNEC, talking about the reforms realized for this purpose.
Mentioning the unfavorable conditions of the III training building of the university for the quality education, Rector said the building is planned to be changed. He added that the School of Commodity Research will be renamed. The world’s most prestigious university’s model will be based on choosing new title.
Saying- one of our main goals is to attract more competent entrants to UNEC, Rector A. Muradov spoke about the plans of the university. He said that the tours to the schools of the capital were done and the schoolchildren were informed about UNEC. The process will be continued. Trips to the well- known schools of our country are planned to be made.
Transparency of the teaching and students staffs’ relation was especially highlighted by the Rector. Speaking about the competent students’ stimulation Rector noted that 100 AZN of scholarship is given to students enrolled to University with more than 600 points and the process of encouraging will be continued. Rector recommended the students to approach seriously to their disciplines to benefit from the advantages offered.
Students were advised to take a chance of using opportunities offered by the UNEC Creative Center, Radio UNEC and sports halls.
Note: 207 students were enrolled to the School of Commodity Research in a new academic year.
