Winners of the Competition of Business Idea “Made in Azerbaijan 2017” are defined
Winner of the competition of business idea “Made in Azerbaijan 2017” jointly organized among the students by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “Kapital Bank” OSC and UNEC have been defined.
Organization of the contest is aimed at supporting the Decree signed by the President Ilham Aliyev on January 18 2016 about the additional measures in relation with the stimulation of the Export of Non-oil Products” in the university level and promoting entrepreneurial activities among the students.
Harmonization of the business ideas with the decree and the mission of the contest, reality of the application of project in domestic market, financial plan in the level of business idea, its urgency and creativity were taken into account in the development of business ideas.
Students who wanted to join the contest had sent their business ideas electronically to htt://unec.edu.az/biznesideya2017/ or to [email protected] . 34 students from 6 universities participated in the competition. The Board of Experts evaluated submitted 34 business ideas and determined 6 finalists.
In the final of the competition “Made in Azerbaijan”, 6 finalists demonstrated their business ideas before the jury.
The IV year student of UNEC Fagan Chelebizade and II year student of the National Academy of Aviation Emil Hajiyev’s project “Destroy your language barrier with Bavel” became the winner of the contest. Second place was achieved by the IV year student of Baku State University Gunay Abdullayeva’s “TechSOS” Project and the III was II year graduate of UNEC Aytaj Sheyikhova’s “Application, business and perspectives of algae in industry” Project.
The winner of the competition of business idea “Made in Azerbaijan” was granted 2000AZN, II place 1500 AZN and the III 1000 AZN.
Finalists – II year students of UNEC’s International School of Economics Eshgin Jafarov with his “Bron Stadium” Project, I year undergraduate of the Faculty Economics Fatima Masimli with her “Development of Village-Green Tourism” and III year student of the Faculty Finance and Accounting Agil Hasanov with his “CleanS” business idea were introduced special gifts of the “capital Bank”.
