According to the decision of the meeting of the Scientific Council of UNEC on September 16, the name of the “Economics and Management” department operating under the Ministry of Education and Culture was changed to “Economic and Technological Sciences”.

Department of Economics and Management has been established as a new structural subdivision under the order of Azerbaijan State University of Economics dated 19.06.2017, under the subordination of the International Center for Masters and Doctoral Studies.

Currently, the chair is headed by doctor of economic sciences, professor Yashar Kalbiyev.
