A memorandum is signed between UNEC and Absheron Logistics Center
The delegation led by UNEC Rector Professor Adalat Muradov visited the Absheron Logistics Center, which has the largest dry cargo port in the Caucasus region and operates as the first private local logistics center.
Discussions were held between the parties on combining efforts, organizing students’ experiences, creating a specialized audience at UNEC, and supporting start-up activities for students studying “International trade and logistics” at UNEC to receive education according to modern requirements.
At the end of the discussions, a memorandum on cooperation was signed between UNEC and “Absheron Logistika” LLC. It is planned to implement joint scientific and technical innovations between the parties, to prepare joint projects, to provide support to student start-ups, specialist training according to the requirements of the modern labor market, to create conditions for the organization of students’ experiences, organization of professional development, certificate and mini-specialty programs offered by UNEC and implementation of cooperation in other directions.
UNEC representatives then got acquainted with the Center’s infrastructure and business model that meets modern requirements.
