The UNEC team visit the graves of martyred students and graduates on Memorial Day
On September 27 – Memorial Day, the staff of UNEC visited the graves of graduates and students who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland and rose to the height of martyrdom, and visited their families.
The rector of UNEC Professor Adalat Muradov and the academic staff and students of the university laid wreaths and bunches of flowers in front of the graves of martyrs Asad Asadli, Ulvi Hajiyev, Mikhail Hamidov and Teymur Majidzade in II Alley of Honor, Baku city, and commemorated their dear memories with deep respect.
Heads of faculties and structures sent to Baku, Absheron, Sumgayit, Agdash, Sabirabad, Ismayilli, Gabala Bilasuvar, Gakh, Agstafa, Gadabay, chairmen of student organizations, teachers and students have visited the grave of Mursal Kazimli in the Alley of Martyrs in the Dada Gorgud cemetery, Surakhani region, the grave of Teymur Zeynalov in the Bilajari Alley of Martyrs, the grave of Vidadi Zalov in Saray cemetery, the grave of Mazdak Eyvazli in Lokbatan Martyrs’ Alley, the grave of Eldar Aliyev in Ahmedli cemetery, the grave of Tural Dadashov in the Karachukhur cemetery of Surakhani district, the grave of Rufat Askerov in the Alley of Martyrs in Bina settlement, the grave of Muhammad Garayev in Gabala district, the grave of Suleyman Garayev in Galagayin village of Sabirabad district, the grave of Agil Mirzaliyev in Ismayilli district, the grave of Bahruz Mammadov in Khaldan village of Yevlakh district, the grave of Anar Garayev in Almali village of Gakh region, the grave of Boyukaga Shahverdiyev in Jabrayil settlement of Bilasuvar district, the grave of Naib Nametov in the village of Garagan Sadi in Aghdash, the grave of Nofal Guluyev in the village of Goshabulag in Gadabay, the grave of Hikmet Shikhmammadov in Dag Kasaman village of Agstafa, the grave of Huseyn Muradov in the Alley of Martyrs of Keshla settlement, the grave of Ali Akbarov in the Alley of Martyrs of Khirdalan, the grave of Mahir Mirzayev at the Pirshagi village cemetery, the grave of Isakh Verdiyev, Abil Cabizada, Farhad Farhadli in the Sumgayit Alley of Martyrs, the graves of Agaami Heybatov in Buzovna Martyrs’ Alley and Ahmadaga Iskanderov in Kurdakhani cemetery.
On the occasion of Memorial Day, the Memorial-Commemorative Complex erected in the memory of 47 martyred graduates and students of UNEC was also visited. A wreath was placed in front of the monument complex and the dear memory of the martyrs was commemorated.
