The UNEC team is participating in the finals of TEKNOFEST 2023
The UNEC team is visiting Turkey to participate in the finals of TEKNOFEST. This year, teams from 93 countries are participating in TECHNOFEST, the world’s largest technological competition.
The UNEC team submitted an agrarian robot project to be used in the field of agriculture to the competition. With the help of artificial intelligence-controlled robot, weeding of plants in the field will be carried out and productivity growth will be achieved.
The head of the project and the captain of the team is Mahammad Rahimov. He is studying MBA in “Project Management” at UNEC. The members of the team are Turkan Bashirli (Computer Sciences), Mahammad Mammadov (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), Kanan Mustafayev (Metrology, Standardization, and Certification Engineering), and Ayshan Ahmadova (Computer Sciences), students of the Digital Economy and Engineering Faculties.
The team will represent the country in Istanbul, Turkey.
It should be recalled that the other teams led by Muhammad Rahimov qualified for the finals with the highest score in the TEKNOFEST 2021 competition held in Istanbul, Turkey, with the agrarian PUA project for the first time. He also successfully represented UNEC in the same category at the “TEKNOFEST 2022 Azerbaijan” competition held in Azerbaijan.
