History

Baku  Food Industry College was established by the order of the Ministry of Food Industry of the Azerbaijan SSR No. 321 dated August 30, 1955 as Baku Food Industry Technical School and has been operating since that year. Since its establishment, it has been providing the production and service sectors of the republic on the food industry with mid-level specialists.

By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 112 dated June 16, 2010, Baku Food Industry Technical School was renamed Baku Food Industry College.

By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 250 dated July 10, 2020, Baku Food Industry College was  transformed  into  Food Industry College with the status of a public legal entity at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
