The state of the preparation for the spring semester was discussed at UNEC.

In the meeting attended by the heads of the structural departments, the results of the autumn semester, the status of the winter exam semester and the preparation for the spring semester, the problems encountered, their solutions and the works to be done were discussed.

The rector of UNEC, professor Adalat Muradov, highly appreciated the work done, highlighted the high rates achieved by the Distant, correspondence and additional education center. The rector pointed to the secretariat system created within the three faculties as a pilot project to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of management, highly appreciated the work of the secretariat of Finance and Accounting faculty and recommended to Murad Alakbarov, the secretary of the faculty to conduct the trainings for the secretariat of the other two faculties.

In the meeting was noted that, the students would take the written exam on the subject of microeconomics in the spring examination semester and they would not be given the questions in advance. And the syllabuses would be uploaded to the personal cabinets. One of the steps taken to improve the quality of education would be that, the questions of the written exam would not be given to students of the International School of Economics and SABAH groups in advance.

 For the initial stage, the students will be presented only topics and the syllabuses of all subjects will be uploaded to their personal cabinet. Emphasizing the importance of transparent and objective assessment of the student knowledge in the discussion was decided to put the end to the practice of adding points to their results.

The rector said that, the re-exam would be organized for the students exceeded the 1 absence limit within the winter examination semester. He gave the assignment to take the necessary measures to hasten the summer school period before the final state competency test for the IV year students.

During the discussions, was proposed to establish the commission to coordinate the organization of teaching at the Turkish World Business School according to the Azerbaijani legislation on education. The commission will prepare the proposals within the short period of time, and from 2018/19-th academic year the teaching in this faculty will be adapted to the standards of the faculties of UNEC providing the education in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.
