Meetings under the motto “Knowledge should be assessed transparently and objectively” start at UNEC. Education experts and the representatives of NGO have followed the process of winter exam within the first meeting realized in accordance with the order “About the organization and implementation of the Exam Session” by the Minister of Education.

The delegation consisting of the Honorable Scientist, Professor Shahlar Askerov, Chairman of the Education Board of the Republic of Azerbaijan, honorary teacher, Dr. of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ajdar Aghayev, Head of the Public Association Education Center “XXI Century” Etibar Aliyev, Coordinator of of Information and Cooperation Network of the NGO on Fight against Corruption Alimammad Nuriyev, Director of Center for Information Systems’ Technologies, President of Internet Forum of the Republic of Azerbaijan Osman Gunduz, Chairwoman of the Independent Teachers’ Union Malahat Murshudlu, Education Experts Nadir Israfilov and Boyukagha Mikayilli have visited all academic buildings of UNEC. The observers met with UNEC Rector after they followed the exam process and spoke to students.

They noted that UNEC is managed with innovative methods and it is one of the most important terms for the development of specialists who meet the modern requirements. Having observed the new stage of the assessment of students’ knowledge, experts considered purposeful the experience to be applied in other universities. Saying “evaluation of the knowledge properly is the best service to state”, the observers also emphasized that UNEC’s transition to electronic university is to support the state’s electronic government policy. They also find it as a very necessary factor which provides 500 students to pass exam within an hour and e- appeal system which save the students’ time.

Winter exam session at UNEC will last till February 1. Aiming to provide the objectivity and to save the transparency in the assessment of the students’ knowledge all necessary conditions for the public representatives’ participation within the session have been created.
