Trainings of the Electronic University Model of UNEC ended
Exemplary classes held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) have been completed on July 8.
The last lesson organized in English was conducted by the Director of the International School of Economics Anar Rzayev. The lesson conducted on “The Spatial Analysis of the World Economy: Geo- economic Regional Studies” went on with discussions.
The exemplary classes started from June 28 at UNEC were conducted in 4 languages: Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish. The first exemplary lesson was held by UNEC Professor Yashar Kelbiyev in Azerbaijani on “Value Added Tax”. The next exemplary class was conducted by the Associated Professor of the Department of International Economics Muslim Ibrahimov in Russian on “Specific Features of Foreign Trade and Income Distribution”. The lesson conducted by the Head of UNEC Department of Economy and Administration in Turkish was on “Consumer and Analysis of Producer Theories”.
Information about the importance of new technologies in the teaching and training process and the usage rules of Electronic University Model were provided for the academic staff of the university. The Professors became familiar with the innovative teaching methods and benefitted from the Professors’ experience who successfully applies the model within the classes.
The classes were broadcast live via UNEC’s official Youtube Channel.
Note: An “Electronic University Model” is successfully implemented at the main academic building of UNEC since 2015/2016 academic year. The model will be applied in other academic buildings of UNEC beginning from the new academic year. To this end, trainings attended by 900 academic staff members of all UNEC Departments were conducted in connection with the efficient use of “Electronic University Model”.
