UNEC Students: “Say no to Drug Addiction”
On April 26 event on “Say no to Drug Addiction” has been held Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in order to promote healthy lifestyle among young people and to educate them in the fight against drug addiction.
The Vice-rector of UNEC for Students’ Affairs Saadat Gandilova has spoken about the harms on the human organism, damages caused to health and generally disasters committed by to society and urged the students to be active in counting against drug addiction.
The Drug Enforcement Department Officer of Baku City Central Police Department, Colonel Zaur Fataliyev has talked about the damages of drugs hit to people, physical, material and moral harms to young people. Drawing to attention the negative effects of smoking and drug abuse, Z. Fataliyev informed the students about how the narcotic destroys the human life.
The Chief of Baku City 33rd Police Department, Lieutenant- Colonel Tunjay Abbasov has analyzed the struggle with drug abuse, work done in this field and statistical indicators. He has emphasized the strengthening the fight against drug addiction, treatment of persons suffering from the disease to be on the spotlight with the return of a healthy life. T.Abbasov has given recommendations for spending more time in reading and assignment of spare time.
